It is an..... owlfly :) I don't know the scientific name of this species but owlflies are... from order Neuroptera and Ascalaphidae family insects. If you google it, sure you'll find better information than i have.

Another wonderful picture...This bug looks so vintage...you can almost clearly see the print design on its back..and hair??? I never noticed!!! What camera and lens do you use for this?
